Nutrition and Health

On December 31st, 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer. This diagnosis required a period of adjustment and reflection due to a previous Stage 2b Breast Cancer diagnosis 26 years ago. The initial diagnosis had significant impacts, leading to financial difficulties and unemployment. However, the current situation is approached with more experience and support. My husband has been my rock. He listens to my rambling or when I go on sudden outburst of tears, he quietly watches me trying to wrestle with my emotions but ready to step in when necessary.

After several weeks of processing the news, we decided to take action and plan. Our diet evaluation revealed high carbohydrate and sugar intake, which can lead to rapid weight gain and necessitate dietary adjustments. Additionally, excessive consumption of foods high in sugar and carbohydrates may result in inflammation, oxidative stress, and chronic diseases if not properly managed. Food additives, pesticides, and pollutants also contribute to these health issues.

My husband adopted intermittent fasting and a keto diet for weight loss over eight months prior to my diagnosis, resulting in notable health improvements. Following his success, I decided to adopt his routine, beginning with a keto diet and intermittent fasting. My job entails extensive physical activity, often involving 4 to 5 hours of continuous movement while carrying packages weighing between 1 lb. to 150 lbs. five days a week. Therefore, I am already expending a significant amount of energy. I simply need to modify my diet as part of my cancer management protocols.

I read extensively literature and studies on cancer research. Watched and listened to hundreds of hours of podcast by medical doctors and prominent personalities that have decades of scientific research experience in the field of cancer treatment and management. Alternative cancer therapies and repurposed drugs were explored to aid in planning and preparation with my doctor, who practices non-toxic alternative cancer management.

Armed with more useful information, I know that with proper nutrition and diet, I will be able to beat cancer once again.
